Contracts Administration Manager Jobs Vacancy in Excelsior Jobs Details:
Oversee the activities of the Contracts Admin section, manage staff and oversee the workflow of the Contracts Administration section in line with company’s goals and objectives.
Provide technical guidance, training and staffing support in all contract administration matters, relative to both prime contracts with clients and subcontracts awarded by company.
Successfully ensure implementation of all Contracts Admin activities to various awarded projects, review, request and process Bank Guarantees, Insurances, Subcontracts, Variations & Claims, provide Contractual Support to Projects and Estimation/Proposals team.
Perform functional review of project activities to ensure technical adequacy of project contract administration activities.
Prepare, review and/or negotiate contracts/subcontracts of varying types, teaming agreements, consulting agreements, agency/distributor agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other contract related documents
Set technical standards, policies, procedures and guidelines in place for contract administration.
Identify potential problems and solutions.
Have the technical and commercial ability to negotiate and settle any contract issues
that may arise from changes in scope.
Monitor and control all contractual commitments to ensure all work is being
performed in accordance with specifications, drawings, terms and conditions.
Work collaboratively with the Executive Manager – Projects Group and Project
Managers to develop successful bidding strategies.
Ensure contracts, major correspondences and all supporting documentations are
maintained throughout duration of the proposal/ bidding.
Review and challenge procurement strategy for compatibility with proposal plans,
schedules and budget.
Retain and maintain current and past tender/ contract statistics to ensure
competitiveness and consistency for future tenders.
Review past projects, examine cost and other key aspects to assist management in
making strategic and business decisions for future tenders.
Maintain safety standards and comply with health and safety requirements.
Ensure employees have an individual development plan and identify employees for
training and development.
Implement and follow the companywide policies and procedures and approved HR
policies and procedures.
Track performance of subordinates against established goals and objectives, and prepare recommendations for submission to the Executive Manager - Projects
Group for applicable performance incentives, pay adjustments, promotions, establishment of new goals and objectives or corrective performance actions as necessary.
Perform any other duty requested by Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Engineering or related discipline
Masters or professional management certification in a related discipline
At least 12 years of experience within a similar industry
At least 10 years experience in similar role within the GCC
Extensive experience in the construction sector.
Knowledge of trades, crafts and equipment needed to complete the job.
Proven track record of exceptional performance demonstrating growth in business performance and profitability
