Supply Technician Material Non Coordinator Jobs Vacancy in Dyncorp International Llc Jobs Details:

The Supply Technician (Material / Non-Material Coordinator) facilitates the procurement of materials and/or services from external vendors/suppliers to be used in direct support of the associated contract. Performs administrative functions during the execution of purchase orders, modifications to agreements, and subcontract documents to ensure compliance with terms & conditions, company policies, and government regulations (FAR).

Principal Accountabilities

  • Conduct market research for supplies, equipment, and services.

  • Prepare material / non-material request packages, obtain required approvals, and submit material requisitions.

  • Participate in the supplier selection process by analyzing bid proposals to ensure they represent best value in terms of cost and performance requirements.

  • Assist in the development of statements of work (SOW), sole source justifications (SSJ), and supplier performance metrics when required.

  • Monitor funding and payment, based upon purchase order terms & conditions, and the procure-to-pay (P2P) process (three-way match: order, receipt, and invoice).

  • Monitor subcontractor performance for cost overruns, schedule delays, and non-compliance issues.

  • Prepares and disseminates reports throughout the organization regarding purchase order status, compliance, and modification.

  • Act as resource to management, operations, finance, property, transportation, procurement, and subcontract personnel in resolving administrative issues.

  • Physically receive items, perform receiving inspections, and close-out purchase orders within the procurement system (DynMRO).

  • Coordinate all changes/modifications of purchase orders through procurement/subcontract department.

  • Conduct program compliance audits of the material / non-material process, develop checklists, and implement improvements to current practices.

  • Increase employee awareness and knowledge of company policies and contract requirements.

  • Complete supplier scorecards.

  • Performs other duties as requested.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong negotiation, oral, and written communications skills with an ability to communicate with a wide variety of levels and positions within the organization.

  • Leadership, networking, and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop productive working relationships.

  • Knowledge of supply chain, sourcing, and supplier management processes.

  • Working knowledge of the federal acquisition regulation (FAR), defense federal acquisition regulation (DFAR), and government contracts.

  • Basic knowledge of contractual terms & conditions, subcontract documents, and related procurement forms.

  • Familiar with initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing projects.

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint).

Experience & Education

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in subcontracts, business, finance, accounting, or supply chain management.

  • Familiar with Kuwait or Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) business laws, customs, and practices is preferred.

  • Experience with DynMRO, Supplier Management System (SMS), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) is preferred.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment

  • Generally, works in normal office environment.

  • Assigned overseas locations could be remote and uncomfortable.

  • Long hours with exposure to weather, dust, and hazardous conditions.

  • May be required to travel on short notice, as required in support of mission worldwide.
